Church Services

​Church Services at St. Mary the Virgin Church are normally at 9.30 am
 
The 1st Sunday in the month is a Holy Communion Service – Common Worship
The 2nd Sunday a Morning Prayer service is held together with the Methodists
And alternate months this is held at the Methodist Chapel at 11.00 am
The 3rd Sunday is a Family Service
The 4th Sunday Holy Communion Service – Book of Common Prayer (BCP)
5th Sundays are at one of the four churches in the Peak Parish Benefice at 10.30
 
The school has a Welcome Service at the beginning of the school year and a Leavers Service at the end. 
They also hold a Carol Service and an Easter Service in church
Praise and Play for the Reception class and toddlers and their carers is held on the 1st Wednesday in the month at 10.00 am.
